Self-Review Conclusions Report
In 2016, we conducted a self-review against our 2013-2016 Business Plan and subsequent Delivery Performance Agreement. This is where we conduct an annual self-review at the beginning of the academic year to look at what’s working well, what’s working better and what could be better.
The report is available below and presents a summary of student achievement and progress, the learning environment, programs and initiatives, learning support, partnerships, sustainability, and the positive relationship between Rockingham Beach ESC and the Primary School.
2016 Self-Review Conclusions Report
Independent Review Findings
This reports presents the findings of the Department of Education Services’ review and verification of the Centre’s self-review (see Self-Review Conclusions Report above).
Here’s what reviewers wrote about the Centre:
“Parents commented that they felt welcomed at the centre and were confident that their children’s interests were of high priority. They were happy with the way students were catered for in the classroom and confirmed that the interactions with the teachers were regular and positive. Some had heard of the centre’s reputation and had come from other areas to enrol. It was also reassuring for them that the primary school was willing to enrol siblings.
Parents also made comment on the effective communication processes which are in place. Within the classroom, a communication book is used to keep parents informed, and face-to-face conversations with staff are common. Parents were satisfied that the regular phone calls, emails, website, communication app, newsletter an information notices were effective.”
