I commenced my teaching career in 1982 with an appointment at Exmouth District High School as a year one teacher before moving to Cooloongup Primary School in 1985 where I taught students from year one to seven. During this time I was also a Literacy Specialist and a Discovering Democracy District Coordinator. In 2002, I moved to Hillman Primary School to take up the Deputy Principal role, transferring to Rockingham Beach Primary School in 2006. I have a Diploma of Teaching, a Post Graduate Certificate in Computing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Science Education.

Children’s social emotional wellbeing and academic needs are at the core of everything I do. I actively encourage strong home and school partnerships and look for ways to involve the community to improve student learning. I am proud to be a teacher at Rockingham Beach Primary School as I work alongside an extremely dedicated group of educators.
