Physical Education

It is Department of Education policy that all children will engage in 2 hours of physical fitness a week. It is important that all children are suitably attired and the sports uniform is ideal.  If a child cannot participate for medical reasons, then a note must be sent.  Movement and games skills are taught throughout the school.  Interschool sport takes place during winter for upper primary students.  Interschool cross-country and athletics carnivals supplement the Faction athletics carnival.

Sport Factions

Students are placed into one of four factions:

• Karda – Red
• Kwilena – Blue
• Koolbardi – Gold
• Yongka – Green

Siblings are placed in the same faction.
