Regular attendance plays a vital role in every child\u2019s learning and wellbeing. Attending school each day helps students build positive routines, strengthen friendships and stay connected with their learning. Even missing a small amount of school can make it harder for students to keep up with classroom learning and develop confidence. By working together to support regular attendance, we can help every child achieve their best and make the most of every learning opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It\u2019s NOT OK to miss school if your child:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 is celebrating a birthday<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 is going on a family holiday<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 is visiting family and friends<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 has slept in or had a big weekend<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 is looking after other children<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 has sport or other recreational activities that have not been approved by the school<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 has an appointment such as haircuts and minor check ups<\/span><\/p>\n

If possible, routine medical and other health appointments should be made either before or after school, or during the school holidays.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You must let the school know within 3 days why your child is not attending school.<\/p>\n

Please support your child by advising the school of non-attendance and by ensuring that your child attends regularly.
