A Chaplain is an approachable and proactive role model in the school community.<\/p>\n<table width=\"661\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"661\">\n<h3>What does a YouthCARE School Chaplain do?<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"661\">Chaplains provide proactive pastoral care for students, staff, and parents, helping to create a positive and safe school environment and looking out for those in need.<\/p>\n<p>Chaplains support students and the school community through bereavement, difficult family and peer relationships, and other life difficulties that confront children and young people.<\/p>\n<p>This may look like:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Providing pastoral care for students, families, and staff<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assisting and supporting students and staff at school events and in classrooms<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitating pastoral support programs and resources<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Linking schools with the local community, support agencies, and organisations<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<table width=\"661\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"661\">\n<h3>Programs and activities at Rockingham Beach Primary Campus<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"661\"><strong>Breakfast Club<\/strong>:\u00a0 Tuesday &amp; Thursday\u00a0 8:00am\u20138:15am \u2013\u00a0 (Old Canteen)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Individual Support<\/strong>: 1:1 sessions by referral from classroom Teacher and Associate Principal<\/p>\n<p><strong>In-Class Support<\/strong>: Settling into class, pastoral care, in-class activities for social &amp; emotional skills<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<table width=\"661\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"661\">\n<h3>Referrals and Support<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"661\">If you would like to refer a student for Chaplaincy support, please let your child\u2019s<br \/>\nclassroom teacher know and they will arrange a formal referral. Referrals for students must be signed off by Associate Principal to commence. Staff are also most welcome to come and have a chat, feel free to seek me out or contact me.
