This includes wearing <strong>appropriate footwear<\/strong>, a <strong>school hat<\/strong>, and bringing a <strong>water bottle<\/strong>. Suitable attire helps ensure students can safely and fully participate in all activities.<\/p>\n<p>If a student is unable to take part in physical activities due to medical reasons, a <strong>written note must be provided to the classroom teacher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students in the middle and upper primary years may have the opportunity to represent the school in <strong>interschool sport<\/strong> throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the school calendar is our annual <strong>Faction Athletics Carnival<\/strong>, held in Term 3, where students from <strong>Kindy to Year 6<\/strong> participate in a range of track and field events.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em><strong>Sport Factions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Students are placed into one of four factions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Karda<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Red<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Kwilena<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Blue<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\">Koolbardi<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Gold<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Yongka<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Green<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Siblings are placed in the same faction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In accordance with Department of Education requirements, all students participate in a minimum of two hours of physical activity each week.
