
Wayne’s education includes a Diploma of Management from Deakin University, Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) and Registered as a Real Estate and Business Sales Representative (Department of Commerce WA).
Wayne has played many local sports but his passion was basketball. In 2012, he retired after 41 years playing junior and senior basketball. Wayne moved to Rockingham in 1986 when he and his wife built their home in Waikiki.
A member of Rotary since 2005 and holding the offices of President Rotary Club of Safety Bay Port Kennedy 2006-2007, President Rotary Club of Rockingham 2008-2009, Rotary District 9465 Secretary 2011-2013 and an officer for Rotary International as Assistant Governor Peel Region 2013 to 2016, currently District Governor Elect 2018-19 for Rotary District 9465.
Wayne has been a Board member for local not-for-profit employment group “Bridging the Gap” since 2011, and presently in the position of Chair since 2017. Wayne received a Paul Harris Fellow Award in 2013 for service to the community and a Paul Harris Fellow Sapphire Award in 2015 for service to Rotary and was named Rotarian of the Year for District 9465 in 2016
Wayne joined the Rockingham Beach Primary Campus Board in 2015 as a community representative and believes the campus shows great potential to be the educational facility of choice in the Rockingham area.
